  • Amateur registration for the Whiskey Off-Road endurance mountain bike event opened January 1st. Much like Geoff Kabush’s arrival to the finish line in 2012, registration has been rolling in at record pace. With an amateur field limit of 1,850 registrants, Epic Rides suspects the event will reach capacity faster than ever before.

    The Whiskey Off-Road will celebrate its tenth annual April 26th - April 28th in Prescott, Arizona. Since its humble beginnings of 200 participants in the back alley of High Gear Bike Shop, the event has grown to become a top five sporting event in Prescott and one of the most significant cash purse opportunities in the history of Pro Mountain biking worldwide.

2012 Fall Zoo Camp at Heritage Park Zoo in Prescott

Ring in the New Year with Prescott's 2nd Annual Boot Drop

  • Prescott, AZ – On Monday, December 31st, 2012, downtown Prescott will be the site for the 2nd Annual New Year's Eve Boot Drop event, presented by Prescott Honda and York Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. At 10pm and midnight, a 6-foot illuminated cowboy boot will be slowly lowered down The Palace Building's 40-foot flagpole to ring in the New Year. Last year's inaugural event drew thousands of people.

Acker Night 2012

  • Prescott, AZ (Nov. 7, 2012) – Shops and galleries in downtown Prescott will kick off the holiday season by opening their doors to an incredible array of musical talent—everything from blues, big band, folk, and steel drum bands to Celtic, pop, and more. On Friday, December 7 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, more than 100 acts at more than 100 venues will showcase their music in the businesses around Courthouse Plaza. The J. S.
